Source You should all be ashamed

Natrii		It makes me rather sad the way new players are treated in wow. They are insualted, looked down on, and scared away by people that have been playing long enough that they feel that they are superior to new player. I really don't understand how people can be so mean to people just asking for help, Not all people come into Wow automatically knowing all the mechanics of the game, I know I didn't when i started back a couple months before BC.

I remember when I first started people were not as jaded, they were more than willing to help someone new, and I don't mean "hey heres free stuff" I mean people that would tell you where you should go, how to improve quality of life... Now all I see are people basically telling these new player to F-off and frankly that is unacceptable, These new player should be treated the same as you would have wanted to be treated when you started. I'm not saying hold their hand though everything, but someone new to a game like Wow does need some direction.

If you are one of those people who are horrible to new player....be ashamed! If you are a nice person like me and the people I enjoy playing with and offer help to those who ask it Hats off to you...we are a dieing breed.
You can't fix stupid...but eradicating it is close enough...

While I appreciate the sentiment of the thread, I think this was gone about the wrong way. Rather than attempting to shame people into being kinder, perhaps sharing positive experiences and constructive thoughts would be more helpful. I'm closing this thread for now.
