Just wondering how the game could possibly end. Im not a huge lore geek but can anyone tell me how the whole story of WoW finally ends (if it does)?

Using the word "final" sounds just too final as of yet. There's a lot of life left in Azeroth's story.
If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desired the unhappiness of others, we could have paradise in a few years.
