Can we get a fishing overhaul?Source

Not just new fish or new rods.. new everything..
Fishing in WoW is blatantly boring.. It's just plain boring.
Why couldn't fishing be a mini game of sorts? Tap your left and right arrow keys to reel in a fish? Small fish are hard as hell to noobs and large fish are near impossible.. but later on, small fish are cake, large fish are mediocre and the only real challenge is GIGANTIC FISH..?
New animation for fishing.. you throw it out and when something bites, you can see it on the end of your line and it becomes a game of tug of war!
Boats! Gold for a tiny fishing boat then upwards of 15000 for an awesome one! While standing on a boat, increases your fishing by % of how awesome the boat is.. Ex: small lame boat increases fishing by 20.. large cooler boat increases fishing by 35.. awesome boat increases fishing by 70!
Fish come with a random weight! Mudfish Weight 1lb.. good luck next time!
I think as WoW has moved onto an entirely more completed and awesome version of itself, I think it's time to give fishing a little umph! =)

I'll have to talk to the developers about this. I'm not sure to what extent they account for people progressing through content while "trashed" when they're designing it. :p
