Source Request Status on Elemental Shamans

Gensai		I was just wondering if we could get a status report on the Shaman class.

1) Is there any chance we will see something similar to the Moonkin casting speed buff on wrath have a similar mechanic applied to Lightning Bolt?

2) Are there ideas or fixes in the works to increase Survivability in PvP?

3) Are there Ideas in place to add additional or change existing totems to better round out Shamans as a class and provide more utility in raids and more utility for control in PvP?

4) Is there a plan to give more of a benefit to Elemental and Resto Shamans for using a Shield, such as enchantments to put on shields or passive talent abilities to increase survivability when using a shield?

5) Is there any chance we will see Earth Shield become trainable across the board for any Shaman spec?

6) Is there a chance Shocks will gain additional attributes or be changed to make it more appealing to use all 4 shocks in a rotation in order to gain benefits for PvP and Raid?

7) Is there a plan to increase Stamina on items for Mail, Leather and Cloth so that EVERYONE has the same HP (Within a few thousand of eachother) in Arena's and Battlegrounds?

8) Is there a plan to increase Lightning shields usefulness for Resto and Elemental Specs?

You don't have to answer all of these questions, but I would like to know if you guys are going to address the survivability issues with Elemental Shamans in PvP.

Apologies in advance for the brief answers.

On survivability, part of the problem is that some classes just do too much damage in PvP right now.

But we are looking at Enhancement and Elemental shamans in PvP for 3.1. We hope to be able to announce more details soon.

We don't want to inflate the bonuses for Mail, but it's possible health in general is low for Shamans. That has come up a couple of times.
