3.0.8 PTR: Build 9386

Last night the PTR was updated with a new build; there were a number of spell changes, some Glyph changes for Death Knights, and a few changes to PVP item sets (not graphical, though).  Below is a list of everything new and changed, as well as some finds from the last build.  We'll likely be updating this throughout the day as we explore the changes in this build more in-depth.

Why is Titansteel Defender a sword with an axe model?
Now that we're here we may as well go too far

Bug; it'll more than likely be an axe. Well, more of a copy/paste mishap than a "bug." ;)

It's funny. Blizzard said a month ago that they didn't want people thinking that they needed to get a profession to be good. Hence why no level 80 stormherald. But then they add the only true Death knight tanking weapons to the game and they make them BOP. Good game blizzard, now where's my stormherald?

I'm certain they aren't intended to be BoP. The axe graphic on a "sword" and the exact same stats other than Defense/Parry are enough of an indication that these were thrown together very recently and aren't quite ready for prime time yet.

Yeah, but it just makes you lose what little faith we still have in them when they shoot themselves in the foot like that. Even if the weapons are 100% ready, that is simple stuff they missed.

Also on a side note a small change i noticed. Essence of Wintergrasp icon change.

Bleh, I guess I can go down there and confirm it. Give me a bit! :P

Edit: For what it's worth, the elementals in Silithus give 100% rep with Hydraxian Waterlords.

I'm suprised with the push towards standardizing gear accross classes that neither of the 2H taking weapons was a mace that would be well statted for either a DK or a feral tank.

You know, I thought exactly that while on the PTR. I checked the Kirin Tor rep vendor for new items and saw what was once a Feral-only staff. The only thing that popped into my mind was "Why in the world weren't Feral staves converted to maces?"

I thought those elementals only gave 1rep a time?
Guess I will have a long grind down there if they have changed it >_<

AP instead of strength on old feral weapons means more hunter weapons! There aren't enough...

Kody: How much rep are those elementals giving at the moment, and it would be much appreciated if you could kill a giant or something in MC to cheak there! :P

20 rep a kill on the giants in MC. Looks like it's fixed too. :)
