Update: Kungen and Sniffy of Ensidia have also completed the achievement and are owners of the Red Proto-Drake.

We received word from Shifft that the Glory of the Hero achievement has been completed!  Negiva of Forlorn Legacy on Windrunner-US completed it yesterday, though there are some questions whether he was the first to do so or not.  MMO-Champion reports that Method completed it yesterday as well.  This achievement is one of a few that reward a special mount for completing it.  This in particular rewards the Red Proto-Drake -- a 280% speed mount.

Congratulations to Negiva, as well as the two members of Method -- Sco and Deify -- for completing this achievement!  It's definitely one of the more time consuming achievements to complete currently.

While we're on the topic of achievements, who do you think will be the first to complete Glory of the Raider and Heroic: Glory of the Raider, and unlock the Plagued Proto-Drake and Black Proto-Drake respectively?  These are both 310% speed mounts, which is on par with the gladiator mount for Arenas -- the [Brutal Nether Drake] (and of course its previous versions: Swift, Merciless, and Vengeful).  Feel free to share your progress and experience with any of the achievements!
