Well im just a normal person i work 9 hours a day and im loging in around 19:15 game time and i play to 00:00 sometimes litle later. That is something i would call casual play time.
My guild raided 4 days a week and you haev to show up for 3 of them. Or rading progress was 4 bosses in Bt. I are just the normal avreage raiding guild, not hardcore but not slacking.
I tell you this as i think im speaking for the casual player. if you play less than that you cant expect geting futher in the end game raiding. Guys lets face it the game musth have some chalenge in it. Im not 80 yet but what i have seen of the game i really dont like. I went to an instance few days ago as lvl 72. Then tank i was with was also lvl 72 and the mobs were 76 and was red to us. We had no cc so he had to tank them up to 4 at a time. In tbc if tank would have run in group of 4 mobs who are elite and 4 lvls higher than him he would be dead before the healers could even think of healing. But he manaeg to tank the whole instance without a problem and the healer told us that it had not been healing intense.
What kind of joke is this guys?
Lets face it its an online game and to be good at it you should have to put some commitment to it. I agree that Wotlk should have more options for ppl who like to log on on and off but to drop the difficoulty of the whole game is just wrong. Ppl who log on maybe 3 times a week cant expect that blizz drop the game so massivly so they can explore all the game. It will mean all hardcore guilds and not even harcore, just guilds with litle sence and commitment will run through this in short time.
Im all for giving the casual players who have familys and working long hours a bit more option in the game. But take this game and compleatly turn him upside down in difficoulty making it a no chalange for alot of players is wrong.
Even though i can only play around 4 hours a day and did not even reach Sunwell in TBc i fully agree that there should be instances in end game wich you can only reach by commiting and fully detication. Im not talking about Nihilu style but like most raiding guilds do. Many guilds raid 4 times a week for 4 hours and reach Sunwell. But for that you need skilled and commited players.
To summon up.
I dont think ppl who log on once and a while have the right to complain about nott seeing all of the game. I do though feel more option should be fore casual players. But in high endgame raiding only the best should reach the last instances. The chalance of fighting a new boss and down him is the rush we seek. If you make it to easy you take the rush and the fun will eventually be lost.
Sry for the bad spelling i know many of you get irretaided because of spelling errors but english is not so good. But i hope ppl know what i mean with this post.
Enjoy your day.

It's you who really needs to be more careful. Clearing content is not the same as earning a bonus achievement that was supposed to take a couple months to get. The content was cleared last week. They earned an achievement tonight. Should probably look into understanding what you're talking about.

Don't push your luck -- these aren't the live forums. Read the article in the thread you're posting in before snapping at me.

then others came in and called the game easy without most likly even been there and cleared it, so to get back to the topic, ofcourse they have the right to whine, as i said in another reply, they pay for the game as everyone else so blizzard can make it fun for everyone, EVEN the hardcore ppl even if they are only 5-10% of a servers playerpool.
offtopic tho with the lowering of standard which it actually is compared to vanilla wow OR even tbc for that matter, casual people cant expect to log on for afew hours here and there and see the end content. Its like taking a parttime jobb expecting to get paid for full time.... effort = success... and its not like blizzard is low on cash to get enough ppl to actually do some MAJOR things, unless they shape up they are going to lose to the new mmorpgs that are popping up sooner or later, WAR is still in alot of patching need but still alot better then wow on many points, WoW still wins for me cause of all the friends tho:P but if blizzard doesnt give us abit of challange for all the money we spent, who knows....

LOL! You think that playing five hours a day is casual? You're in for a big surprise. You're addicted to this game and you don't even realize it. You are as hardcore as it can get for someone who works.
According to wowprogress, only 0.21% of the guilds killed Malygos. That's far from the "OMFG! Casuals now can easily clear the raid content"whining. Most hardcore raiders seem to have completely lost the grip on reality.
