I don't know when 7-11 started selling games, but it's pretty good timing.  What's better is they're selling them early -- at least for now -- so if you're lucky enough to get one then I highly suggest doing so.  If you can't wait until tomorrow night (technically Thursday morning) to pick up your copy, then this is your opportunity to get one now.  You won't be able to do anything with it until Thursday, but at least you'll have the game installed from the disc and patched up.

You can find the 7-11 store locator here: http://www.7-eleven....14/Default.aspx

Confirmed Cities

And now a list of confirmed cities selling the expansion right now; I suggest calling in before going though so you can confirm that your local store is selling them.

San Francisco, CA
San Diego, CA
Chicago, IL
Salt Lake City, UT
Seattle, WA

Again, be sure to check the Store Locator and then call in advance to make sure there are copies available.  Good luck!

Credit to Peemp of Kilrogg-US for the image.  And an awesome name.  And an awesome haircut.

Couldn't 7-11 get in a lot of trouble for doing something like that? or is it just alright since you can't even play until Thursday?

Blizzard can do a number of things.

- If 7-11 corp. signed some kind of contract, Blizzard can fine them for breaking street date (Blizzard has done this with numerous companies in the past). Of course 7-11 won't really mind as they might make enough money to pay off this fine by breaking street date, but who knows.
- They can refuse to do business with 7-11 (highly unlikely).

The worst that could happen would be that Vivendi pulls it's contract with 7-11. Does it really matter though, anyway, since you can't do shit with the game officially until Thursday at 00:01?

Torrents, scene DVDRips and everyone who owns/works at a place that sells games already has it. It doesn't function until Blizzard flips the proverbial switch.

This has piqued my interest enough to hit the 7-11 at the end of my developments road, however. :)

Mine popped right up -- use a zip code, inherently works better.

I just went to two 7-11s near my house and they either refused to sell it or they didn't have it. One guy told me that they delayed it, or that Blizzard isn't giving them to 7-11 or something. I'm sure he didn't know what he was talking about, but it was weird. Bummer for me I suppose.

The best part about this search is, that if you do go and can't find one, there's a slurpee at the end of the journey. :D

I would suggest calling in advance if you try to check any other stores in Las Vegas, though.

I called several local ones and man, they really didn't disprove the Apu stereotype, all 5 of them were Indian men with thick accents.

No Wrath at any of them either, sucks.
