Update 1:00 CET: Crate location maps are being added.

The pre-launch event we reported on yesterday appears to be entering phase 2.  The Conspicuous Crates can now be found in all major cities.  Additionally, Plagued Roaches are a new way to become infected!  Found in all major cities, killing these roaches will infect you with the plague as well.

Also, there's an absolutely awesome thread on the official forums about some Zombie Misinformation that gets clarified by a player who has been participating in the event.  Check it out; it's worth the read.

We're currently in the process of working on something to make finding Conspicuous Crates much easier, so keep checking back!

From what Hellscream tells us in Borean Tundra it seems the Scourge is going to raze Orgrimmar and likely Stormwind also judging by sound files.

Well yeah, but you have to figure, there's still 21 days until release ... this is day 2 (or 3, depending on how you look at it). They'd better not just skip to the end; there'd better be some meat in the middle.

I think they should remove all the Argent Healers from the game and give the zombies more strength. If you are infected and don't want to be, just use Zombie Explosion and run back to your corpse.

I think it's probably going to get to a point where the Argent Healers aren't effective anymore; and everyone is going to be sick, like it or not. This is, after all, the second coming of the Plague -- and the only way people survived the first one was by getting the hell out of Dodge.

When it first sprang up, it took one cleanse. Last night before I logged out, I dropped a raid of zombies in IF ('cause they were from the asshole elitist guild mentioned in a previous post, and I hate them all) and was infected. Took me 12 cleanses to get that off.

I predict by Sunday, it will be un-cureable. If the first Plague was cureable, OBVIOUSLY they would have just had a shit load of Priests, Paladins and Shamans out healing people. So, don't think it's going to work.

Yeah, believe it or not, there's actually people who get a kick out of fighting the zombies and cleansing the infected. The only thing stopping it from being more prolific is QQ from pro-zombie supporters--normally very CAPS LOCKED, uncalled for whinefests.

The Argent Healers should not be removed. There's two sides to this event and many choose to ignore one of them.

Besides, if we all becomes zombies, we might as well cancel the expansion.

We almost killed an argent healer with 20-30 zombies zerging it. And with 200 zombies...then they ARE dead. So they will not be an issue if next phases make it alot easier to gather a big pack zombies in no time.

It's probably going to be special being Horde/Ally fighting the Scourge aswell.. Blizz knows that everyone will go as Ghouls..
Update: There's some grain-boxes in Tarren Mill too, though not infected.. Yet..

Found another grain-box, a weird place though, at a abandoned camp at The Skittering Rock in Silverpine Forest.. Not sure if it's the same as the Plague-thing though
