Oh I know all that.

Sometimes I forget that this is the internet and people don't have a sixth internet sense to smell out anything facetious. My bust ;)

It was more of a remark about how much of this game is spiraling out of control and I really don't see an expansion working without some serious revamping and something besides 10 extra levels and 10 levels worth of talent points. Mix that with a serious desire for something different than what they keep feeding us and you have an idea of my frustration.

But yeah.

I'm a sucker and I'll keep playing.

Nerf Locks.

That view is just a little emo though; I mean seriously, I can probably see a good 40 or 50 more levels after this expansion, with 50 more talent points. New skills and abilities as well as revamped old abilities -- new spells, new skills, new ways of doing things.

The coolest thing about an MMO is that it's ever changing and always expanding. The one thing that WoW could do right, better than any other thus-far -- would be to expand on WoW with WoW:2 and *GIVE* subscribers the option to move foward with their characters in to a new game, rather than stopping one and moving to the next. If they did finally stop development on this, and came out with World of Warcraft II: Something Catchy, and you had the option to move foward to this game without any monetary loss; that would definitely help migration; but I'm pretty sure that this product has a life cycle ending ... I dunno, I would roughly say 2020-ish. Give it a good 15/16 years, 'cause that's about the steam it's got behind it.

I dunno, maybe my view is skewed just a bit since I started in a game that raised the level cap twice while I was playing (from 100-120) and then decided to do a "2", but fucked it up -- 2 tanked, and 1 is now dead. :/

PS: PATCH DAY TOMORROW -- TIME TO ENJOY PAYBACK WHILE I STILL CAN. WOOT! :D

Why the hell can't the mounts swim? So, what you guys are really saying is: elephants and rhinoceroses can't swim? LOL, they just sink, so they stay clear of water. That makes sense.

Kodo's always are going head first into the ground anyway :P

As for Elekk's.... well they have those trunks.

Hah. I've kind of lost touch with realism actually ever playing a part in this game, so if it improves gameplay I'm happy for it. It all started back when I couldn't run up a slope with a greater than 45 degree angle. ;)

I'm having trouble reading the exact whereabouts of sarcasm in that post (I think it's at the end, which means we agree on this matter), but I would just like to point out that both Elephants and Rhinos can actually swim, although I'm sure it's really only classified as wading.

"Question to Tom Chilton: Why do you think Perception is so much better?
We see it brought to fight so much"

It's dormant you idiot, its to all fights because you can't disable it! It's useless.
Your fate will be orbital bombardment.
