That view is just a little emo though; I mean seriously, I can probably see a good 40 or 50 more levels after this expansion, with 50 more talent points. New skills and abilities as well as revamped old abilities -- new spells, new skills, new ways of doing things.
The coolest thing about an MMO is that it's ever changing and always expanding. The one thing that WoW could do right, better than any other thus-far -- would be to expand on WoW with WoW:2 and *GIVE* subscribers the option to move foward with their characters in to a new game, rather than stopping one and moving to the next. If they did finally stop development on this, and came out with World of Warcraft II: Something Catchy, and you had the option to move foward to this game without any monetary loss; that would definitely help migration; but I'm pretty sure that this product has a life cycle ending ... I dunno, I would roughly say 2020-ish. Give it a good 15/16 years, 'cause that's about the steam it's got behind it.
I dunno, maybe my view is skewed just a bit since I started in a game that raised the level cap twice while I was playing (from 100-120) and then decided to do a "2", but fucked it up -- 2 tanked, and 1 is now dead. :/
PS: PATCH DAY TOMORROW -- TIME TO ENJOY PAYBACK WHILE I STILL CAN. WOOT!
