New Shoulder Enchants

  • Inscription of the Frostblade: Permanently adds 45 spell power and 15 critical strike rating to a shoulder slot item. Can only enchant your own items and doing so causes them to become soulbound.
  • Inscription of High Discipline: Permanently adds 30 spell power and 15 critical strike rating to a shoulder slot item. Can only enchant your own items and doing so causes them to become soulbound.
  • Inscription of Kings: Permanently adds 20 defense rating and 15 dodge rating to a shoulder slot item. Can only enchant your own items and doing so causes them to become soulbound.


Undocumented Changes

General
- Cold Weather Flying (required to use flying mounts in Northrend) is now trainable in Dalaran for 950gold. (

Wintergrasp changes
(via wotlkwiki)
- The losing team of Wintergrasp will now be rewarded as well as the winning side: Wintergrasp Defeat - "Grants the losing team 500 honor and 50 arena points for participating in Wintergrasp." (Approx a third of what the winning team gets.)
- The final reward honor for winning or losing Wintergrasp will now be increased by your rank earned during the gameplay. (Recruit, Corporal, etc.)
- A zone check has been added to count Horde and Alliance players in the area. The side that is outnumbered gains the Tenacity buff: "Being outnumbered has increased your tenacity, increasing your health by 12.5% and your damage by 5%." (probably a Northrend wide buff).

Glyph of Dark Command - Increases the chance for your Dark Command ability to work successfully by 8%.
Glyph of Frost Strike - Your Frost Strikes have a 10% chance to Freeze the target for 8 seconds.
Glyph of Blood Tap - Your Blood Tap no longer causes damage to you.
Glyph of Scourge Strike - Your Scourge Strike has a 25% chance to cause Blood Plague and Frost Fever.
Glyph of Death Grip - Increases the cooldown of Death Grip by 10 seconds but stuns targets for 1 second.
Glyph of Death and Decay - Your Death and Decay spell deals 10% additional damage but the cooldown is increased by 10 sec.
Glyph of Icy Touch - Your Icy Touch does 10% less damage but generates 10 additional runic power.
Glyph of Blood Boil - Lowers the damage of your Blood Boil by 20% but causes it to slow affected targets for 5 seconds.
Glyph of Strangulate - Increases the range of your Strangulate by 20 yards.
Glyph of Icebound Fortitude - Your Icebound Fortitude costs no runic power.
Glyph of Unbreakable Armor - Unbreakable Armor grants an additional 5% parry chance but no longer increases your Strength.
Glyph of Death's Embrace - Your Death Coil refunds 20 runic power when used to heal.
Glyph of Vampiric Blood - Your Vampiric Blood also heals you for 3% of your total health.
Glyph of Bone Shield - Adds 1 additional charge to your Bone Shield.
Glyph of Raise Dead - Increases your Ghoul's total Strength by 10%.
Glyph of Horn of Winter - Horn of Winter costs 10 less runic power.
Glyph of Plague Strike - Your Plague Strike does additional damage for each disease on the target.
Glyph of Obliterate - Your Obliterate strikes for $58671s1% additional weapon damage, but does 50% less bonus damage per disease.
Glyph of Rune Strike - Increases the critical strike chance of your Rune Strike by 5% but increases cost by 5 runic power.
Glyph of Anti-Magic Shell - Increases the duration of your Anti-Magic Shell by 5 sec but increases the cooldown by 15 sec.
Glyph of Chains of Ice - Your Chains of Ice also causes $58621s1 Frost damage, depending on your attack power.

Glyph of Thorns - Increases the duration of your Thorns ability by 50 min when cast on yourself.

Managed to get a quick screen shot before getting kicked! I'll update the full map when I can. It also appears that the Flying Quest Hubs actually move around. They do not appear stationary.

Many change. Interesting one for most part. Prot warrior seems to gain much more damage , and lose their High threat tooltip therefore.

But I'm again surprised by rogue changes. Retentless strike change .. seems very weird , and will make more than one rogue react. And I can't help but think that Every single rogue will be speced Assassination. It seems viable for PvE/PvP and Grinding. And for the moment It seems to offer much more Damage dealing than Combat. Lot of work has to be done on Combat and Subtlety tree still.

Death knight seems to get some damage fixing and Shaman spirit wolf are finally in and it's nice *smile*

By the way , certainly have been posted and asked around already. But dear rogue , what do you think about the fact the Mutilate tooltip doesn't specify " require dagger "?

Some Nice new Glyph Information, that 10man Caster Sword is Sweet about time a Decent Sword was avail :)

Also didnt see the mention of where the shoulder enchants were from anyone know or isint it known yet?

*edit for* Please tell me them new Pots dont actually work in Arena right cause that would simply suck

Haunt's tooltip changed: it now says:
[...] when the haunt spell ends or is dispelled, it heals you for 20% of the damage it did to the target.

Tested, and it now heals for a little less than 20% of the damage haunt does when it lands. With 1400 +shadow, haunt lands for 2k ish, and heals for 380ish.
Shadow embrace got changed but is bugged (it doesn't proc from haunt for starters), and testing if the effect works in impossible with the servers crashing every two minutes.

Edit: managed to test on Dr Boom, at 5/5, SE boosts dot damage by 5/10% (1/2 stack).

Tested Pandemic, it's sweet. I had one proc of it for 1k, most for 900+, which is what my coruption ticks for with SE and haunt up.
Edit2: Haunt removes SE. So casting haunt then sb*2 then corr, I managed to get corr to tick for 1027, which made pandemic proc for 1299. Could be due to other players' debuffs though.

Also finally got a chance to test dark pact in a rotation, it works quite well, the imp regenerates mana fast enough that it's full by the time I need it again. Overall, it's not enough to sustain for a very long period, but it will really limit how much lifetapping you need.

Next step is to get recount and measure dps.

Edit3:
Sustained 1200 dps (no pot, no food, no flask) at level 75 with +1400ish shadow in level 70 gear, spellstrike set, eye of mag, timbal, using CoA (because I hadn't keybound CoD >.>). It makes finding a rotation quite the challenge, because you need to recast SB at least every 15s or corr falls off, and still weave in the various dots, renewing haunt when it's off, dark pact when needed.
Breakdown is:
SB: 25.3%, corr 17%, coa 14.4%, ua 12.3%, SL 9.5%, haunt 8%, immo 6.5%, pandemic 4.1%. It's quite impressive that the proportion of SB got this low, but it means we need haste scaling in affli all the more now.

Edit4: managed 1500+ dps o/ After 3 fights, it averages at 1362 dps, which isn't too bad considering the gear I use, and the fact I don't have a timer addon, which means I often overwrite a tick or let a dot drop for more than one tick.
