Crystalsong Forest changes

The Crystalsong Forest has been populated with two camps/factions: The Sunreavers (north border) and the Silver Covenants (south border).

The Sunreavers

The Sunreavers is a group of Blood Elves who represent the Horde in the City of Dalaran. Named after Archmage Aethas Sunreaver, the Sunreavers seek to have the Blood Elves admitted as members of the Kirin Tor. (wowwiki)

The Silver Convenant

The Silver Covenant is a militant core of high elves that rejects the admission of blood elves into the Kirin Tor. They've united under the banner of Vereesa Windrunner and joined the Alliance forces in Northrend.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner - New Model

Better late than never, Lady Sylvanas gets a facelift.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner is a faction leader located in the Royal Quarter in Undercity. She is the founder of the Forsaken faction of undead, who are currently allied with the Horde. She has styled herself the Dark Lady, Queen of the Forsaken, an expansion of her original title, the Banshee Queen.

I liked her old model better. Yes it was a night elf model and I know she's technically an undead High Elf, but she looked more like a dark ranger with the old outfit.

It could be argued that her being a banshee queen and all this shouldn't be the goal.

It's just the hair that is wrong for me. Needs something a bit more ragged.

how is the itemization looking to every1? I am curious about the melee shared loot, does my hunter want a bunch of haste, or is that make something a rogue/dpswar item?

How old are WoR users? All replies above with the exception of one are talking about a changed female NPC model.

So glad they finally made her not a Night Elf. That was probably the most disappointing part of WoW to me when I first started playing it: Some of the important characters from Warcraft looked terrible. It'd be nice if Jaina Proudmoore could get a change too.

I don't see what this has to do with age.

I think the reason people take special interest in Sylvanas is because of lore concerns and the fact she was in WC3.

That picture Lamina linked does look a lot better. Also: The baby frostwyrm is absolutely adorable.

All in all, though, I'm loving the art direction in WotLK. All the Nordic-looking stuff is amazing.

He was since launch, he was patrolling Desolace-Feralas route pre-TBC, in TBC he's in Blade's Edge Mountains.

I'm aware you are hinting at us being horny teenagers, but you are incorrect, the matter at hand she is a major lore character rather than her being a female. If Thrall or Varian Wrynn would recieve new models, it'd cause the same amount of feedback.

I do not play horde, unfortunately. He is one of the more bad-ass NPCs in the lore though, I'd like to see him. Good thing I'm rolling a Horde Death Knight after I level up some other stuff in the expansion! :)

Plan is to have an 80/80/80 Paladin/Mage/Death Knight login screen on my main Alliance server and then an 80 Death Knight on my friend's Horde server; and I might possibly level my Undead Mage that's been level 12 since ... 2006. :P However, since I mainly play side-by-side with my wife (and soon my little Brother), I'll probably have to focus on the Alliance toons more than the Horde ones. :(

Well pre-TBC you could run across him even as an Ally, I remember running across him while questing in Desolace while on my NE Druid(he didn't attack alliance players unless you attacked him) too bad I didn't screenshot it.

But yeah, nowadays you need a Horde character to meet him(unless you fight your way up to him).
