Blizzard has secretly edited the official Death Knight page to change the description of each talent tree.

Posted Image

As you can see, The Death Knight class no longer has a specific tree for tanking; instead,  Blizzard changed talent trees to make them more versatile, each tree will offer a panel of DPS and tanking abilities.

Here is the new description for each tree:

Posted Image
Blood: Talents in this tree focus on weapons, armor, and strikes.

Posted Image Frost: Talents in this tree focus on control, counters, and combos.

Posted Image Unholy: Talents in this tree focus on spells, summons, and diseases.

seems to me the new "descriptions" are actually less descriptive. Then if u scroll down the page u get a little more info as well.

I like the idea of not forcing the Death Knights into one specific tree for tanking. :)
You can clip our wings, but we will always remember what it was like to fly.

Exactly, tbh it'd be sweet if they did the same for other classes, make more than 1 spec viable for pve/pvp.. Would be much more fun imo, see some diversity in the game.

Raise Dead: The death knight can raise a ghoul companion from the corpses of fallen creatures, as well as those of both friendly and enemy players. If cast on a friendly player, that player will have the opportunity to actually play as the ghoul, controlling its movements and actions.

O.O Looks like there will be ALOT fun in raids:
-Comat Ress me fast! OMG, you retards, I said ress not make a ghoul!!!

Yeah, I've already got some rough ideas for 2 different tanking specs, one for caster and possibly aoe tanking and another for standard tanking. I'm looking forward to see the class fleshed out more to see how the specs evolve.

Actually I don't know what was first but :

Talent Trees

The talent trees for the death knight are Blood, Frost, and Unholy.

* Blood: Talents in this tree focus on weapons, armor, and strikes.
* Frost: Talents in this tree focus on control, counters, and combos.
* Unholy: Talents in this tree focus on spells, summons, and diseases.

That's for talent trees but as you might know Deathknights also seem to have some self only aura and then you get:

Example Abilities / Presences

Death knight talent trees are complemented by Presences -- self-only auras that benefit the death knight. Selecting the matching Presence for each tree augments the class abilities for that school of magic.

* Blood Presence increases damage output by a percentage and restores a percentage of damage dealt as health.
* Frost Presence increases threat and lowers damage taken by a percentage.
* Unholy Presence increases attack speed and reduces the global cooldown on death knight abilities.

So nothing really changed, they just made it a bit clearer :)

I wonder if they would give death knights their own jokes and stuff...another voice atleast!
