Cataclysm Beta: Silverpine Forest - The Warchief Cometh

You've no doubt seen the transcripts and probably a few screenshots too. Now it's time for a video of the very first event Horde players will experience in Silverpine Forest. It takes place upon accepting the quest The Warchief Cometh and involves Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, Garrosh Hellscream, and a very startling discovery about some of what the Forsaken has been up to since the death of the Lich King.
As the video states, this is very spoiler heavy, so don't watch it if you want this to be new for you when Cataclysm releases!

Win. In. A. Can.
This not only fills a giant hole in the forsaken lore, but it also adds a very subtle hint that the Lich King is letting some Scourge go... very interesting it seems.

With the death of the lich king and some of the scourge becoming part of the Forsaken...I don't see how they might stay with the horde. Im siding with Garrosh here, the Forsaken were never meant to live on as a race. If Sylvanas continues to defy Garrosh, then wont they maybe be Forced out of the horde at some point or even better, killing her off wouldn't be so bad.

Basically, he left those Scourge go of his control because he's not supposed to exist, but where is the line drawn? So he's not taking control of all of NR scourge, doesn't he know what happened to Silvanas after she was let go? Shouldn't Bolvar be afraid that he'll actually start creating more and more of "those guys"?
Hope that makes sense :S

It's kinda weird that they're getting rid of all the old city leaders.
Bolvar was first, of course. Now with Cataclysm, we have Cairne dead, Thrall on a secret mission somewhere, Magni petrified, and Fandral in prison. That just leaves Sylvanas...and from what we see here it looks like she may be on the way out too.

Jailer of the Damned, not Lich King. Bolvar is acting as...a jailer, to put it honestly. The Scourge are "locked down", but only to keep them from running amok. Former death knights, liches, and other powerful undead who were once part of the Scourge probably took over local forces for their own use and survival.
Bolvar is holding them back, but he can't very well make them all run and jump into the pit beneath Icecrown and be done with it. Although, I think the "there must always be a Lich King" is kind of a lame plot device.
Alot of Horde fans (note: not "fanboys") either agree or disagree with Sylvannus and her actions. Some hate her now, some love her more than ever. I think it's more because she looks like a 27 year old Playboy model than a member of the undead, but that's beside the point.
Sylvannus making more Forsaken tells me she's basically given up on finding a cure for the plague of undeath. The Earthen Ring and the Tauren both believed it could be cured. But curing the Forsaken can't happen, or else their overall reason for being a part of the Horde is lost. Game mechanics don't allow it to happen, so the Forsaken have to continue on in some way.
Besides, if the Forsaken were expunged from the Horde, it'd create a whole mess of issues. Sylvannus will more than likely be deposed, and the Forsaken will split between Sylvannus loyalists and others following someone else who remain within the Horde. Blizzard is backing itself into a corner here, in my opinion.

I think we're in for a power struggle within the Horde. Those who support Garrosh, and those who don't.
And Sylvanis can tip the scales with her support of one side or the other.
I can see it now.
During a duel between whomever is leading the fight against Garrosh and Garrosh, Sylvanis shows up.
"What are you doing here, witch?"
"I told you that I serve the Horde, Warchief."
*TWANG* *THUD*
"And the Horde is best served by removing you from power."

I much prefer the darker side to the forsaken and slyvanas, after all we arent alive... but we arent dead.. we are an abberation really. Garrosh and Slyvanas are both war hungry tbh they just show it in different ways. I think in a way Slyvanas trusts and respects Thrall.... but Garrosh is just a whole different story.
I cant see them killing off slyvanas ... after all who would take her place to lead the forsaken realistically ? I could see Slyvanas taking out Garrosh ... for the return of thrall ?
Either way I much prefer the darker side than the nice follow all orders do as im told slyvanas

Ok well, we all knew Sylvannas is a B I A T C H. They took some personality aspects from Kerrigan, in the way that she has her own agenda while she pretends to serve a leader... and she is a treacherous fiend.
I would love to see Sylvannas being killed but I really doubt that will happen anytime soon.
