With Cataclysm beta build 12604, the guild UI is now partially functional in-game. A few tabs are still disabled, and some of the functionality of the roster is still NYI, but I figured it's a good time to provide an update on the guild ui preview that I posted last week.

Main Window

On the main window of the guild UI you'll be able to view news, see upcoming events and set them, and see the most recent and next perks. You'll also be able to check on the guild experience progress and browse all guild perks; even those your guild has yet to unlock.

Guild Roster

The guild roster page has multiple display options via a drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the roster window. With this drop-down you can view player status (level, class and location), guild status (rank, note and last online) and guild professions (professions each player has and their skill level). You'll notice there's an extra 0 for player professions; this is more than likely a data bug. Removing the 0 to the right results in the actual skill level each player has.

Guild Info / Guild Control

On the guild info window, you'll be able to see info about the guild, its message of the day, and any upcoming events. You'll also be able to manage guild control if the proper rank, including editing guild ranks, editing rank permissions and editing guild bank permissions.

Hopefully they added the ability to create ranks in between the hierarchy, or at least ascend and descend certain ranks... instead of having to rename them all and change all the permissions for every rank if you wanted to add like a "Treasurer" rank, "Officer alts" rank, etc. (Just to name a few examples.) Would be lovely.

Definately hope so nothing worse than having to re organise everything for adding or taking away of one rank, so annoying and time comsuming

And, like most mounted speed improvements, it won't stack with other ones (ie: Talents/Crusader Aura will override this 5% buff)
