Heroic Icecrown Citadel First Kills

The 25-player first kills have been dominated by a single guild on each side, with vodka taking the US kills and Paragon taking the EU kills, but it looks like the true world firsts are starting to kick in as Paragon scored the first kill anywhere of Heroic Blood Queen Lana'thel tonight.

10-player has proven much more interesting, though, with a handful of guilds shuffling for kills throughout last night and today.

Mobile Authenticator Now Available for Android
Good news for those of you that either were brave and adopted the G1, or are now switching from the iPhone to the Nexus One. Blizzard announced that the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator is now available for Android devices as a free download from the Android Market!

Although i've only been hacked once and that was near the beginning of the game its really worth buying an authenticator. Core hound pets make me feel safe.

So 25-man progression has now gotten slightly farther than 10-man progression, with the first of the limited-attempts bosses falling first on 25-man.

This doesn't really surprise me, though. Looking at WoL data, 10-man attempts on PP/BQL have a much higher success rate than 25-man attempts, but a slightly lower success rate for Sindragosa/LK. And this includes the many attempts by 25-man geared groups. So it seems that for the really hard stuff, 10-man ICC is tuned to be a lot harder than 25-man ICC.

My guess is that most (hardcore) guilds have used up their attempts already so def not this week.

I wish it will take 2 weeks more. But I feel he might die next week considering that many high end guilds have alt-raids to practice the encounters with.

Apparently that Russian guild killed Professor Putricide and the Blood-Queen on Heroic 10 man

The fact that they killed the Blood-Queen at 13:37 must mean something!

In fact, the second kill and EU first kill was made by Kreml High - EU Shattered Halls on Blood Council (10) and not by Apathy.

Actually wowprogress already shows that Paragon killed H Sindragosa 25... Only Putricide left for them to attempt LK.

According to that link for the Russian guild they only have LK left. =S

Tbh, our own soulcrushin 2% wipe on Putricide (best attempt so far) is also a big difference in progress compared to this :>
