10-player Lich King Kills

Three guilds managed to defeat the Lich King on 10-player mode so far.  This encounter looks to be extremely challenging from the live streams yesterday and is very worthy of news mention of kills, even on normal mode.

Congratulations to Blood Legion of US-Illidan on the only US kill, and Ensidia of EU-Tarren Mill and For the Horde of EU-Nazjatar on two European kills.

Icecrown Weekly Raid Quests

3.3.2 also unlocked the Icecrown portion of the 3.3 Weekly Raid Quests, offering up a random quest during your clear each week that will reward you with Sack of Frosty Treasures -- a container that holds 5 Emblems of Frost, a bit of gold, and a chance at epic gems or a random BoE-264 epic.

There are 10-player and 25-player versions of these quests and both format's quest can be done each week so get to Icecrown Citadel while the loot is still cool (no pun intended)!

My guild did a 25 man raid followed immediately by a couple 10 mans. I switched from my main to a healer alt so I haven't tried both a 10 and 25 on the same character, but I don't think I heard any mains in the raid complain that they couldn't do a second weekly!

My guild doesn't get very far each week but our 25m weekly was to kill a giant just after gunship and our 10m was keep a mob alive during Deathwhisper. The mob on Deathwhisper was one of the first to spawn but was just a melee mob with sunder and he only had 156k HP so a cleave or two will get him down. We used a tank on him and when we had to rotate on the boss we switched off pulling him away to simplify matters. The giant on 25m had 22 mill and did a debuff (healable dot) that kills you in 20-60 seconds (I don't remember duration) at the end you spread it to people near you. If you don't you die. When you do it gives you a debuff that doesn't allow you to get it again so its kinda like practice for blood queen. We were able to get both quests and complete them. 5 in our 25m and 1 in our 10m got a random epic gem however we have seen no BoEs.
