Patch 3.3 PTR Testing - Professor Putricide

The streams are over due to lots of bugs with the encounter and the area around it, so expect future testing. A lot of these details are from a few builds ago so expect them to change with today's testing. Join us on IRC if you want to discuss the encounter, or have any information you'd like to share.

Abilities updated to reflect recent build changes. Most of them have been confirmed as still used by Putricide. Some may not be used until a later phase.

Professor Putricide

There are alchemy tables in the room with Profession Putricide that have potions on them. Interacting with the potions will cause you to mutate into an abomination. This will be key for removing the Mutated Slime puddles, however you can only have a certain number of abominations up at any given time or the damage from their AoE will overwhelm you. You will remove the puddles with Eat Ooze. He will also spawn Orange Ooze and Green Ooze, though the details on them are sketchy at best at the moment so I've left them off the ability list until we know more.
Abilities
Choking Gas Bomb Professor Putricide throws Gas Bombs around him, the Gas Bomb deals 5363 to 5637 damage every 1 sec and explodes for 15600 to 16400 damage after 20 sec. See Choking Gas and Choking Gas Explosion.
Choking Gas The Choking Gas inflicts 5363 to 5637 damage and causes you to choke, reducing your chance to hit by 75% for 20 sec.
Choking Gas Explosion The explosion inflicts 15600 to 16400 damage to enemies within 10 yards, knocking them back and reducing their chance to hit by 75% for 20 sec.
Create Concoction Professor Putricide is rifling through the lab table, searching for a powerful potion!
Expunged Gas The Gas Cloud's attack has expunged all of the gas from the target! Expunged Gas inflicts damage to all enemies based on the number of Gaseous Blight stacks that were remaining on the target when they were attacked.
Gaseous Bloat Inflicts 1219 to 1281 damage every 2 sec and if the Gas Cloud hits you it will expunge all of the remaining Gaseous Bloat and harm all nearby allies. Stacks 10 times.
Gas Variable You have the Gas Variable! You will be targeted with things that also have the Gas trait.
Guzzle Potions Professor Putricide starts to drink every potion on the table!
Mutated Slime The Mutated Slime grows continuously, inflicting 4388 to 4612 damage every 1 sec until it is consumed by another Mutated creature!

http://static.wowhead.com/images/icons/medium/ability_warlock_chaosbolt.jpg Volatile Ooze Adhesive The Volatile Ooze Adhesive bonds the target to the Volatile Ooze, inflicting 2438 to 2562 damage every 1 sec and rooting the target. The Volatile Ooze will move towards the target, exploding for 68250 to 71750 damage, split among all nearby targets.
