Brewfest 2009

Brewfest is now underway in most regions (depending on your timezone) and will last until October 3rd. This is also the last set of achievements needed for many of you, for What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been which rewards Violet Proto-Drake, a 310% speed flying mount. To those of you who will be completing it, congratulations in advance! It really has been a long process to get the mount.

The Brewfest vendor has a collection of items for sale, all requiring various quantities of Brewfest Prize Token -- the new currency for Brewfest as of this year. Note that as of right now, this does not go into your currency window, so it'll take up inventory space. Coren Direbrew is also back this year, and drops items of the same quality as those dropping from level 80 heroics.

Weee, US-Stormscale Alliance finally managed to defeat one of the bugged invasions, so glad that I'm done with this grind and I can start ignoring holiday stuff again

You forgot to mention the goggles that make you drunk while wearing them, and make you sober again when you remove them. These allow for easy completion of the daily quests that require you to be drunk without the hassle of having to stay drunk.

The colour of the proto drake is horrible.

Ill stick with my ironbound. I don't regret not bothering for this achievement.
