Argent Tournament - Patch 3.2

With patch 3.2, the Argent Tournament is expanding quite a bit. Not only will a new instance be added for both a single group and a raid, but there are also many new daily quests for players who have reached Crusader status and / or exalted with their faction's reputation (Silver Covenant or Sunreavers). For now I've listed the new rewards and quests below, but as more information is discovered, I'll make sure to provide updates.

New Item Rewards

There are new rewards added in 3.2 with a quartermaster for each reputation listed below. Crusader rewards are unlocked by completing the Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance / Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde achievements. One interesting note is you can now also buy heirloom items with [Champion's Seals] from the crusader quartermaster. There are also two new heirloom weapons not yet on Wowhead: [Repurposed Lava Dredger] (2h mace - bugged currently) and [Venerable Mass of McGowan] (1h mace)

New Dailies

Along with the new rewards come more dailies and sources of [Champion's Seals] to purchase the rewards! Note that some of these quests are not on Wowhead yet, so links will be added once they become available. It's also possible there are more dailies from Crusader Silverdawn than what are listed. In total, there will be at least four new dailies each day that reward [Champion's Seals], with the possibility of more added before patch 3.2 goes live.

So judging by my remarkable counting skills, it looks like a person could get 14 Champion Seals a day (not counting random ones you could get in money sacks). Now, are some of those dailies alternating, random ones, like the different sword dailies, or are they all active every day?

You can only get 8 or so seals a day not counting the extra's in the sack. Some of those alternate from day to day.

Also of note is the "kill 15 scourge" quest was changed to "kill 15 cult of the damned members". A minor change but kinda annoying.

I'm so glad horde fianly get an easy Dragonhawk I mean all the alliance has to get is get 100 mounts for a blue one.

Can you please post Screenshots for the Heirloom Championseal Itemvendor and the Heirloom Bow-Stats.

If not. It didnt happen!

The Dalaran Itemvendor does Sell Heirloom Items for Emblems of Heroism, including Chets at the Brill PtR Server.

I'm confused, did the bow stats change or something? The bow has been around since heirlooms were first introduced. I'll get screenshots though.

Edit: I'd also like to add that Sunreaver Tabard has to be one of the coolest looking tabards in the game.

But its listet with Live Stats on Brill. So we can asume a wowhead Mistake before we get a Shot of the Uber-Heirloom-Bow.

I posted the Heirloom Heroism Vendor to show that you will be able to buy the Chests for Marks of Heroism you dont need to be Crusader i asume you can only buy them with Champion Marks if you have the Crusader Title but you can still buy ehm like all other Heirloom Stuff with Dungeon Marks.

If that will go live that would be a huge relief for the people that want to twink with all heirlooms and are not into exhalted grinding.

Yeah it will still take a while, but then it should imo. Also we can't forget that it was hinted that champion seals would drop in the instances as well. Pretty sure it was said in regards to the 5-man but it is possible that the raid instances could drop them too.

At around 9 seals a day it would take about 16 days for 150 seals. That isn't that long and seems reasonable.

That's definitely not the bow I saw in Dalaran just now. It's still the same DPS as it is on live at level 80.

Anyway yeah, the chests right now are available on the heirloom vendor as well, but whether or not that's intended will be made more clear in the next couple builds, most likely. It sounded like, at least initially, that the chest heirlooms would only be available through the crusader vendor.

You say that, but for someone going for the 100-mount achievement, and assuming you also want the pony bridle (because who wouldn't?) you need 1175 seals.

That's over 15 weeks of doing every daily every day *and* running the new heroic 5-man for 3 more every day (11 per day). A free seal here and there from the bags (bags you still only get from the current 4 dailies, none of the new ones) might shave off one of those weeks, but that's still 3 and a half months of farming, at about an hour a day (if you're fast and your group clears the 5-man quickly as well).

Then god forbid you want tabards along with your mounts. Or you can't find groups for the 5-man (21 weeks of just dailies if you don't do the instance).

Pets you can buy from someone else who wants to just farm gold for their seals. Mounts you can't. Buying everything BoP (not even including the mediocre low ilvl blue and purple gear or heirlooms) from the tournament would take close to a year of dailies. That's a bit more than a timesink, that's worse than the original Wintersaber rep and the Insane title combined!
