Patch 3.1 - Official Ulduar Trailer

The official Ulduar trailer is now available.  This is a story-based trailer that follows up the events of the Wrath Gate and brings the Alliance and Horde together against a new threat.  Well, maybe...

For millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. Yet since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structure's original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty titans themselves. Such speculations were wrong.

Beyond Ulduar's gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the titan's mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the titans could not, would not destroy -- an evil they merely... contained.

Beneath ancient Ulduar, the Old God of death lies, whispering.... Tread carefully, or its prison will become your tomb.

Dual Talent Specialization Glyph Information

All classes will have their talents reset when the upcoming patch 3.1, Secrets of Ulduar, launches and the dual talent specialization feature will be available for purchase. We will not be wiping glyphs with this patch though. If you purchase this additional talent spec, the glyphs you had equipped before the patch will be the glyphs that are part of your primary spec and your secondary spec will have no glyphs.

So if you purchase dual specializations, this is a reminder to make sure the talents you select in your primary spec match up with the glyphs you have there to avoid any mix up between the talent trees and their appropriate glyphs.

3.1.0 Battleground Queue: Update

Well this just about confirms 3.1 is tomorrow.  Stay tuned for more later tonight on the patch.

You will return to the location you queued. There is a "known issue" if you queue and accept to enter a battleground while in flight, where you will placed in a designated area. I'm working on getting specific details and will provide an update as soon as possible.

Add-On Development Policy Update

We would like to announce further that we are providing a sixty-day grace period beginning at the time of the initial release of the policy for UI developers to comply with the new policy. After May 19th, Blizzard Entertainment will begin to enforce the Add-on Development policy, and developers found to be in violation of this policy will be contacted directly.

SO.. when is Thrall going to get rid of his old Stockade Pauldrons and get some Tier. The man needs to learn to raid like Sylvanis or something.

They just gave a "grace period" for the UI policy. Probably for AddOns like Bejeweled.
