103 sec. Patchwerk Speed Kill - Elîte of US-Stonemaul

We've seen a few Sartharion speed kill videos, and even have a Hall of Fame for it, but I wanted to remind everyone that there's also a Patchwerk Speed Kill thread on the Raids & Dungeons forum; you can submit your kills of Patchwerk there.  While the video below isn't the fastest reported (Premonition clocks in at 97 seconds), it's one of the fastest kills I've actually seen a video of.  Elîte of US-Stonemaul killed Patchwerk in 25-player Naxxramas in 1 minute 43 seconds.

“Hello my champion.” A dark armor spoke those words to me, part of the voice I knew, from years before, definitely the voice of my slayer, and the sword that he thrust into my chest 7 years earlier was in his hand, but the other half of the voice was barren, a voice that I knew from my short time as an ambassador to Stormwind, the voice was Orcish in origin. The armor spoke again “I am your master, the Lich King! Let me take off my helmet, and you might just remember me, Bakthar.” His death chilled armor slowly moved, his hands moving towards his helmet. I stood there with my rotting jaw almost falling off; it was my slayer’s body, with a new name, that was my “master” now. At least he left my strategic intelligence within my rotted brain, for if not so, I would be nothing more than a puppet, nothing more than the very ghouls I summon on a daily basis.

0 to 1000 Gold in 4 Hours

Note that this is 4 hours of PLAYED time, not 4 hours of real time.  This was over the course of a week or so.  However, it's still pretty impressive because the person created a new character on a server they'd never played on and played the Auction House to make gold.

 

 

Diablo III Map for Warcraft III

For those of you that absolutely can't wait for Diablo III, there's a great rendition of the playable demo from BlizzCon -- ported over to Warcraft III -- thanks to Diablo fans like CloudWolf.  The map is still in beta, but it's incredibly well done, and has some of the best terrain I've seen in a Warcraft III map (strikingly similar to the D3 demo layout).  Check out the trailer below, or head over to Hive Workshop to download it.  One thing I can warn is that you play with others over Battle.net; it's extremely challenging if you try to play the map alone.

I can get 1000 gold in 4 hours farming saronite. As far as that video, we don't know if he had some rich friend on the server that's helping him control the market.

For all we know, the 1,000g guy is logging onto another account and buying all of his own auctions at "insano-price" levels. Some of the first things he bought were resold for ~20g. The concept is valid, and a good presentation of how easy auction house profiting is, but the video could have easily been rigged.

He can probably make 1000g in 1.5hours aswell if he have budget to start with, the "amazing" thing is that he start with 4silver.

Show me how you do that at lvl 5

the point is that lvl doesnt matter and you can start with barely nothing and make money and the profit should be better the more money you got to do it with if you do it right

There's a pretty huge difference between making 1000 gold at level 80 and making 1000 gold at level 1.

Yea the point of the whole movie is to make fun of the auction house "noobs"

as he shows that you can make gold in a short time, without having any high lvl char and without doing any sort of farming.
