World of Raids Joins Fansite Program

We're very excited to announce that World of Raids has joined the Blizzard Fansite Program for World of Warcraft!  We have a very cool contest coming up soon to go along with this, so stay tuned for your chance to win a BlizzCon 2008 card that includes a [Big Blizzard Bear] and a StarCraft II beta key!

Site Update: The Argent Crusade

We've updated the Wrath of the Lich King portion of our Guides section with the Wrath of the Lich King reputations.  The first to be added is The Argent Crusade.  On this page you can find out information about key NPCs related to the reputation, rewards for raising your reputation with them, all of the associated daily quests, and any achievements the reputation is criteria of.

We'll be adding more reputations over time, so be sure to keep an eye out for future announcements.

World of Raids Recruitment

We're looking to fill a few more content writer and moderator positions to go along with WoR joining the official fansite program.  More specifically, we're looking for team members to create guides similar to The Argent Crusade and Feast of Winter Veil, as well as content sections for each of the dungeons and raid zones added (and those soon to be added) with Wrath of the Lich King.

Content Writers

Email the following information to community@curse.com with the subject title "World of Raids Content Writer".  Please keep in mind before submitting your application that content writers are expected to have a firm grasp of the english language, as World of Raids is primarily an english-language website.

Another expectation is that you have a passion for World of Warcraft and gaming in general, and you're currently playing the game.  We cannot stress this enough, as we do not want anyone on the team who dislikes the game, has quit recently, etc.  You'll be creating content that hundreds of thousands of World of Warcraft players will read, so it needs to be compelling to them and something that will help them through the game.

• Classes you've played and their levels
• Current and past (Classic/TBC) raid experience (if any)
• Past writing/guide examples or an example guide you would like to see on World of Raids

Moderators

Email the following information to community@curse.com with the subject title "World of Raids Moderator".  We would like to request that you can read and write in english, as you will be communicating directly with the World of Raids community.

• Classes you've played and their levels
• Current and past (Classic/TBC) raid experience (if any)
• Past moderation experience (if any)
