Upcoming Isle of Conquest Changes
Yesterday, the official talent calculator has been updated again with a few changes for Death Knight, Mage and Shaman. We compared Wowhead talent calculator (current build 8714) with the official talent calculator (build 8???).
Death Knight
We are only listing the changes that were added yesterday. Check out the new DK talent trees for a better overview.
Blood
Frost
- Improved Rune Tap now lowers the cooldown of Rune Tap by 10/20/30 secs, in addition to the healing bonus.
- Sudden Doom is now affected by Heart Strikes (and Blood Strikes).
Unholy
- Deathchill description changed: When activated, makes your next Icy Touch, Howling Blast, Frost Strike or Obliterate spell or ability a critical hit, if cast within 6 sec.
- Howling Blast range increased from 20 yards to 30 yards, it now deals double damage to targets infected with Frost Fever (was triple damage to Frozen Targets).
- Blood-Caked Blade now improves Blood Plague damage. New description: Your melee attacks and abilities have a 2/4/6/8/10% chance to improve Blood Plague by 50% of the damage dealt. (old version: Your melee attacks and abilities have a 2/4/6/8/10% chance to cause a disease that deals 50% if your attack's damage over 21 sec.)
- Crypt Fever has been changed: Your diseases also cause Crypt Fever, which increases the damage of other diseases on the target by 10/20/30/40/50%.
Mage
Arcane
- Missile Barrage - Arcane Blast replaced with Arcane Barrage (Gives your Arcane Barrage, Fireball, Frostbolt and Frostfire Bolt spells a 3/6/9/12/15% chance to reduce the channeled duration of the next Arcane Missiles spell by 2.5 secs and fire missiles every .5 sec.).
- Arcane Barrage - Mana cost reduced for all ranks (rank 1: 335 > 325, rank 3: 610 > 592).
Shaman
Elemental
Enhancement
- Concussion - Thunderstorm and Lava Burst are no longer affected by this talent. New: Increases the damage done by your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning and Shock spells by 1/2/3/4/5%.
- Call of Thunder is no longer affecting Thunderstorm.
- Elemental Shields description changed - Reduces the chance you will be critically hit by melee and ranged attacks by 2/4/6%. (Old version: Reduces all Physical damage taken by 2/4/6%)
- Astral Shift description changed - When stunned, feared or silenced you have a 33/66/100% chance to shift into the Astral Plane reducing all damage taken by 30%. Astral Shift will last the duration of the stun, fear or silence effect.
- Thunderstorm ranged increased from 10 to 12 yards and damage increased from 595-679 to 610-694 Nature damage.
Restoration
- Improved Shields - The amount of mana gained from your Water Shield orbs is now 10% for all 3 ranks.
- Mental Quickness description changed - Reduces the mana cost of your instant cast spells by 2/4/6% and increases your spell damage and healing (was spell power) by an amount equal to 10/20/30% of your attack power.
- Shamanistic Rage - Chance to regenerate mana lowered from 30% to 15%. New: Reduces all damage taken by 30% and gives your successful melee attacks a chance to regenerate mana equal to 15% of your attack power. Lasts 15 sec.
- Feral Spirit - The 2 Summoned Spirit Wolves now last 30 seconds (instead of 45 seconds).
- Improved Earth Shield - Increases the amount of charges for your Earth Shield by 1 (old version: 1/2), and increasing the healing done by your Earth Shield by 5/10%.
- Tidal Waves - Cast time component increased from 30% to 50%. New: You have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance after you cast Chain to lower the cast time of your next two Lesser Healing Wave or Healing Wave spells by 30/30/50/50/50% (old version: 30% for all ranks), and your Healing Wave and Lesser Healing Wave spells gain an additional 5/10/15/20/25% of your bonus healing effects.
