Guild Recruitment Tool Feedback

Please post all feedback or bug reports related to the World of Raids Guild Recruitment tool in this thread! Also be sure to check the Known Issues thread, as it will be updated continually with the currently known issues.

If the bug is something visual in nature (icons displaying in strange places, the format of the page being messed up, etc) please make note of the browser and version you're using. Screenshots will help immensely with any visual bugs as well.

Having some trouble with the login on the management page for the Guild Recruitment Tool.

It won't stay logged in and therefore I can't publish due to being in sandbox mode.

When adding the guild I'm in, we've got 1 persons alt in the guild that has kills like Algalon in his achievement. Now the tool copies that as the whole guild doing it instead, which would be not true :<

So I've finally stopped being lazy and created an account here just say that you folks have done a great job making this tool. I haven't tested this feature extensively yet but if anything comes up I'll be sure bring it up your attention.

I had the same problem and clearing cache&cookies did the trick( Firefox v3.5.3). You might want to give that a shot.

Hrm, will point our developer to this thread. Can you make sure you have cookies enabled in the meantime?

Yeah we're going to be increasing the number of characters required for it to consider a guild having done it.

I noticed in the FAQ that you cannot have multiple admins for a guild. Is there a way, however, for me to transfer admin rights to my guild leader? Or just delete the guild altogether and he can recreate it?

Feature request:

• 10/25 man guilds split.
  
• Choosing to be a 10-man guild should show 25-man progress only as secondary view with 10-man progress as main.
  
• Search filter should also reflect this.
  
• www.guildox.com has a 10 man strict listing worth using for ranking.

It's not possible right now except by using WoWGenuine. That will ask your leader log out with specific slots having items in them (the rest of the slots empty) and will generate a random code based on that.

The leader then attempts to create your guild (which already exists) and is asked to enter the WoWGenuine code to verify they're actually in the guild. If this works (i.e. the code is correct) then the guild is transferred to that person.

We'll get the multiple admin feature working ASAP.

Great suggestions, I'll talk with Tempestra to see the best way of doing this as soon as I can.

I believe "A Tribute to Dedicated Insanity" is the "immortal" type achievement for 10-player, is it not? I'm not able to find a 10-player immortal that specifically states no deaths on Wowhead.

Yes, you're right, I was reading it wrong thinking you had the immortal achievement listed for both 10 and 25.

If possible, it might be an idea to automate the EU-US filter based on a persons input on their profile page?

So only when someone has explicit interest to look up the guilds on the other side of the world they can turn that filter off.

Also with the Faction change service, would not the region be a more important filter than the faction? (i.e. change the position of the 2 would be nice )


Beyond this, I really like the look and feel of the tool. It's very well.... awesome ^^

Trying to add in a guild it just stays scanning the armory and work find anything.

Great ideas. I can't promise this will be something done within the next few days, but in general we want to automate as much as we can for both players and guilds alike so the search process is as quick as possible.
