I tend to agree with what Blizzard is doing with the loot for the hard modes since making hundreds more unique named/looking items would of been pretty crazy considering the 4 different versions. Some things may still change though since Daelo did mention loot isn't fully done.

Given that only 1 staff 1 dagger and 1 2h axe have been discovered, no wonder.

Keep in mind that list is for 2 of the encounters (25-player anyway). Though it would be strange if there are no 1h axes itemized in the patch they decided to let rogues use them.

They havent released the new raid in the US PTrs yet right? i would love to try it but i cannot because im in the US.

Daelo mentioned in the schedule that they are having issues with the US PTR realms but I'd imagine it will get fixed this week.
