I like Death Jester's attitude, they know they are among the best guilds but don't seem to be extremely elitist about it. I apporve =)!

Second best guild on the server is still second best guild on the server. Blatantly lied about the AQ lottery, taking credit for something they dint do. Couldn't kill M'uru till the nerf. Bad guild is bad.

If all you have are unfounded allegations, then I think I'll take DJ's word for it over yours.

If, on the other hand, you can back that up, then maybe you should do so. Otherwise, take your butthurt somewhere else, please.

Interestingly enough, I'm actually this guys neighbour (Sparty of Death Jesters.)

Despite being kind of a douche bag IRL, he has run a tight shift on this guild and done a very good job of running it. Maybe I shoulda stuck around on his server a little longer =P

Yeah no kidding. We get asked to do a spotlight on a guild not in the top 20 in the world and we do, and all it spawns is drama.

On the bright side, I banned my first person who isn't a gold spammer today.

As for 'plox' maybe you'd like to post something that's actually useful to this website; assuming you want to continue posting here, that is. Go to the Stormrage forums if you want to drool all over your keyboard.

I guess what we can take away from here is, For picking a guild not in top 20.. you picked a terrible terrible guild for a spot light. I guess it would have taken some more digging to realize who/what DJ is and what a load Sparty fed you. But it was a good article and worth a laugh if you actually know DJ.

I'd like to thank the WoR team for the opportunity for this Guild Spotlight, we were excited and humbled to be chosen for it a few weeks ago. I know I was checking every few hours this past week to see if it had been uploaded

And while we expected our usual fans to come out of the woodwork, we hoped they would stick to their usual Stormrage Forum climate. And not pollute the WoR forums, we do apologize for that. We do however have all of our facts out in the open for everyone to see in our archives and our public forums. While we certainly did not farm all of the materials ourselves as that would be quite impossible, we simply provided a framework and incentive for people who would normally not have helped out. It was naturally the collaborative effort of many guilds, both horde and alliance, that contributed to US-7th gate opening. Which is pretty good for a relatively unknown server

One of my officers once spoke to a former member about me: That if Sparty ever lied, intentionally misled, or falsified any screenshots/logs, he(the officer) would no longer be guilded here as he would have no respect for the leadership. That holds true to this day, and if anything I said in the interview falls under the above categories, I would resign the leadership of my guild in a heartbeat. I would hope the same from all of my officers and members, and that is the kind of integrity that has held this guild together for four years.

And finally, we'd be happy to clarify anything or answer any actual questions regarding the interview.

I really don't feel that these forums are the proper place for your complaints. It seemed like a good interview imo and if you have issues with what he said why don't you take it up with him in game rather than spilling your negativity out here.

I believe you misread or misunderstood what was written regarding AQ-turn ins. The turn ins were two-fold: One section required an enormous amount of farming from both horde and alliance side. Like other servers did, we initiated a collaborative lottery to award players for farming and submitting materials. Each mail was tracked, logged, and input into the daily lottery. The sheer effort for a single guild to farm these would be near-impossible.

The other turn in was Silithid Carapace Fragments. Since the other major players collecting fragments were using them as they were received, we waited with ours, to see what would be the best outcome for the server to get the gates open. Many guilds helped farm carapaces but ultimately, since another player was a human, some of the major alliance and horde guilds decided to offload all carapaces onto her.

As far as server firsts and seconds, you've been around long enough to know them. Every news post from the past four years is logged in our news archives

As a former long time member of DJ's, I can tell you they are elitist jerks and put down anyone who is not on their level. And it is a fact that M'uru couldn't be killed by them until the nerf, so they aren't that good of a guild. And Sparty is a control freak that won't allow his members to read or post on Stormrage forums. Not to mention they carry some of the most annoying players to date on Stormrage. To name a few Marxman, Ziaxzzzzzz, Rootleaf, Nebshar, Sparty...the list goes on. A fellow named Damdor started this guild and lead the guild to the top then Sparty, riding the fame of Damdor, took over to make it second best. Unimpressive to say the least. And if most of the newer members ever saw what is discussed about them in the recruitment thread on DJ's website, they wouldn't be members today, they have nothing nice to say about recruits.
