Actually, they have already decided that it will take place between the events in TFT and WoW. Which is a shame, actually, since the original plan was to cover the events in Orcs & Humans. I would have LOVED a revisit of Orcs & Humans, especially since so few people actually know about the lore of that time. Plus, it would make the movie unique since...well...the bad guys win.

You do realize what you just said will probably take a programmer a couple of days to write a couple of hundred lines of code; then another couple of days to go back through and rewrite a couple of thousand lines of code. Plus the bug fixes that will come along with the inevitable mistakes that will be made within those couple of thousands of lines of code.

You don't get a 9+ GB program with anything less than huge code bloats. Think Windows, on an epic scale, that actually works. Give them time.

There is no way in hell the change he suggested would involve "a couple hundred lines of code" much less rewriting a couple thousand. It MIGHT be a couple dozen... if it were coded inefficiently. The vast majority of the time involved in implementing a change like the one Anathema suggested would be testing it, not coding it.
