About Stormherald and smiths. I agree many re-proff themselves just to be able to get it.
But how many did not re-proff into tailoring just to get Spellfire or the Shadow-set?
Hope they won't make it that way aswell in LK.

And what Ghostcrawler is saying. Can we expect a nerf on Titan's Grip or is it closer to taking the penalty away completely? :S His posts are making me very confused in that thread. :/

I wonder what we get in return, now we can't make a weapon for myself. As a holy its pretty difficult to get a good main weapon, since all in raid will be very angry if i roll on dps plans!

If atleast holy spec(paladin) was fun to grind i wouldnt mind it. But its absolutely imparetive i can get a good retri weapon since holy doesnt do any damage.

And also i choose blacksmithing because i liked the ideer of a paladin making weapons and armor(and shield ) but should i now get another trade skill, since i havent made any money ever on bs, i would say it event out thought. I cant see anybody thinking it was mandatory to get, anymore that enchanting is mandatory for a tankadin(+spellpower on ring)

I'm pretty sure it will be on pirate tottent sites anyday from now. Doubt Blizzard got control of thousands of retailers all over the world.

But still, you need a CD-key and the only way to get it when it launch is to buy the box. And the pirate sites may put in viruses/keyloggers into the files aswell. So nothing I recommend.

Don't know if www.wowwiki.com will list any torrent.

BS will be aming BoE Epix weapons so you will still be able to get your hands on something. Also the ability to socket will be good also. I have to admit BS has also been a bit lame compared to otehr proff especially for money making

Probably been the worst one. Only hardcore guild BS's have been able to do some gold on it.
But now we have sockets for belt and gloves iirc and it will be needed 24/7.
The BoE weapons will be sellable, but only the first 3 months or so then everyone will be running around with better shit.

Indeed BoE epics from raid bosses is really bad for the game if you ask me, ppl with lot of gold can just equip themselves now. I was actually glad goldfarmers got less to sell in WoW now they have reasons enough to come back in full scale. And the noobs withh just run around epic geared without even have to be able to kill a boss. PLEASE why?? I have a lot of alts myself so it would be good for me because I can just buy them from the guild bank but is that exciting? NO !

amazon has started shipping and most other online stores guarantee delivery 2-3days before release.
so its rather 110% sure that it will be on the net before release

Does it really matter what the 'noobs' do? Are they really going to effect your Guilds Raids? Are they going to effect your BG's anymore than the afker's do? I agree it does give a small opening for the goldsellers, but they're gonna hafta work for said items too.


On a different subject: do you think they're gonna be adding the achievements to the Armory since they're taking it down?

I like how they are not doing any stormherald like items or frozen shadow weave like tailoring sets that are BoP for professions anymore. I disliked having to pick up BSing for my shaman just to get a decent weapon while the rest of the profession was completely useless to him and ended up wasting my time anyway since I replaced the items a month or so afterwards.

Least now I don't have to worry about any of that and can keep maxed Leatherworking on my shaman and actually have a profession that benefits him.

People with a lot of gold can already equip themselves on populated servers. Guilds sell Black Temple/Sunwell Runs (heck some even sell ZA runs) all the time.
