I'm up on the fence as to whether I like this "idea" or not. Cause honestly... I'm playing WAR for PvP... WoW for PvE, and by this change, they're steering in a more WAR type direction... which leaves me thinking...
"Once Wrath hits... Is there really any point in me keeping my WoW subscription up?"

Didn't you just answer that question ... WoW has all the end-game PVE, WAR has the PVP. If Blizzard does it right, and makes PVP secondary rather than a bastard step-child that they just so happened to put in, WoW will still decimate.
Right now, WAR's PVP is fun -- 100% better than WoW's -- I keep saying "if Blizz would just tone down the damage and level off the HP pool of everything -- it would have all the appeal of Warhammer with all the appeal of WoW and crush WAR". Really, the only difference is the fact that you don't have one-shotting happening in PVP and the battles feel bigger and broader because of it.
Sure, the classes are different -- and the Destruction side is more dark and twisted than the Horde -- but other than the game being more gritty, it's the same game. Same controls, same UI, same general goal -- jsut one is more focused on PVE and one on PVP. Merge 'em, and you have the ulitmate game once more.
I'm excited about the inclination that they may adopt this technology. F battlemasters in the ass, I'd rather queue when I feel like it.

IMO that and the HP pools are the only thing that WAR has going for it.
