really handy to know more about this, in a sense this elimiates the need todo instances first then quests after (to maximise rep gain) as you can gain rep anywhere (with the 4)

The tabards only work for 80 instances? So i take it you get no rep for killing mobs in the 70s?

You might wanna know that wearing no tabard at all in a 80 normal or heroic dungeon will grant you reputation for Horde/Alliance Expedition.

The Kalu’ak have a repeatable quest in Howling Fjord. It is the one where you have to get the male seal to the female seal. For some reason, I want to say it is 250 rep but could be 150.

Instead of doing quartermasters for the 4 Alliance/Horde factions Blizzard just did a Quartermaster for the Alliance Vanguard and the Horde Expedition. You get rep with them through dailies and quests in Icecrown and from the level 80 instances if you are not championing a faction.

The Alliance Vanguard quartermaster is in Valiance Keep and I would assume the Horde Expedition quartermaster is in Warsong Hold and there is currently no tabard for them.

I assume by the 1 Dalaran faction you meant the Sunreavers (they also have a camp in Crystalsong). It seems pretty likely that Crystalsong will end up being a daily zone for the Sunreavers and Silver Covenant. If that ends up being the case it wouldn't surprise me if both factions end up having Quartermasters.

The Sunreavers are the fourth Horde rep.

So, let's say at release I run Utgarde Keep 5 or 6 times to get some gearz. No rep for me there? The level up instances are not tied to any factions?

Really nice article, clears up a lot of stuff I guess some people were wondering about. Only thing I would have addded personally would have been a list of the level 80 instances for normal.

As for the person posting about casual craft, sure it does make it a little easier. Then again I can remember the crap when ppl wanted exalted with xxx faction for toon they re-rolled or whatever. Now basically get eh tabard and hit any place. No re-running SV 50x or Mech etc

people will be able to run the fastest or best Dungeon over and over maybe not a good thing but better than doing teh same place over for one faction.

This is exactly what 'should' separate casuals from hardcore players.

Everyday I feel that WoW is just becoming a non-challenging game.

Yeah, but I don't think WoW wants to be the kind of game where you have to run SV 50x even if you don't like it and there is no more loot for you there because you want to ride a shiny new hippogryph. They want to give you options, so that it's not dumbed-down, simply diversified. You still have to put in the work, but doing the work becomes less like banging your head against a brick wall and more about fun game play. Diversity and Options = more fun game play. I mean, I'm behind that philosophy.

Leave rep grinding alone. Fix 'loot tokens' and i'll be happy.

It's pretty annoying when you kill a boss 4 weeks in a row and all you see is 12 Vanq tokens.
