That cinematic was absolutely GREAT. The voice of the REAL king and arthas with his amazingly cool armor... I don't have words seriously amazing.

Guess its just me who didn't find it that great. Don't get me wrong it was good, but not as good as the other 2. Nothing much really happened in this one. But the dragon was cool.

Awsome video! But how can possible that dragon fly with those broken wings? Who is it anyway (I'm no lore fan so I don't know much about it).

Tanking in Wotlk & blessing of Salvation:
One change we made recently is baking in the old bonus from Blessing of Salvation into tanking forms. Up until now you were pretty much just diong without the old Salv because there was no way to replace it, and many raiding guilds will tell you that buff is (was) mandatory. Now you get it for free...
What?
Don't understand what they're on about here.
Do they mean that when a tank is in tank form everyone else automatically gets salv on them like some kind of aura?
What if you don't want someone to have salv on them? i.e. a warlock tank on illidan on leotheras.
Can't remember what % salv decreases threat by..is it 30%?
If it is no longer going to be a buff and just some kind of automatic thing, why not just make tanks do 30% more threat? Rather than everyone else 30% less.
Someone mind explaining, seems a bit pointless to me.

I'm still very curious about what's going to happen with feral tanking
I guess its quite tough to buff bears without makng resto druids even more overpowered in pvp. So My guess is on some kind of talent point.
But I'm not very worried, since if they rly buff our hp pool, then we'd make awesome tanks on non physical dmg bosses (like hydross and illidan flames for example).
And being a hybrid means we are quite flexible, so we will always have an advantage above other tanks, since we can have builds that dont requires us to be switched out for boss fights that need less tanks.

if they're put in the lovely "dual-spec" thing that has been rumoured, then no-one would ned to be swapped out for certain bosses.
I'd love my warrior tank to have a second spec I could use as titan's grip or something, would be awsome, coz then I could finally PVP on my main as well.
(I don't like wasting money and effort re-speccing just for a bit of pvp, which is not my main thing in this game)

There is no more salv, there's an "oh shit, he's almost at the top -- let me pop this 3 minute cooldown for 30% over 10 seconds buff". Looks like they are rolling in 30% more threat to Righteous Fury or something to that effect -- or maybe like Defensive Stance, Righteous Fury, and Bear form?

so you pop your "30% extra threat for 10 seconds"
people think "woot, he's got some agro"...start dpsing more again, your 30% extra stops and they all over agro you...
seems crap imo, gief salv

I cant remember where i read this but i think it was at blizzcon 07 or maybe WWI that they mentioned it but i can remember them saying that.
All tank classes while in tank stance/form/essence will naturaly do 30% more threat then before. They didnt say this word for word but from what i understand thats what they were thinking.

No, tanks tank in defensive stance, bear form, and use righteous fury -- meaning that they are always generating 30% more threat. Paladin's still have the OH SHIT buttons "Hand of Salvation" and "Blessing of Protection" to drop threat on the DPSers -- who shouldn't be competing with the tank for threat given the higher aggro generation to begin with.
I'm guessing that by building in the threat meter they are expecting more people to pay attention to threat -- thus alleviating some of the previous situations where "rogues" as an example, were always like ... one parry away from taking over threat, thusly wiping the damn group. :P
As far as the intro movie -- it was awesome, though, I think it is missing the whole "panning off to actual gameplay characters doing their thing -- and a mage polymorphing someone in to a penguin before panning back to Arthas breaking open the ground and the Frostwyrm". *shrug* Still very cool though.

well wars in defensive stance do 30% extra threat, then if they talent for it they do an aditional 15% threat.
This has been removed so now wars in defensive stance do 45% threat.
But if they remove salv from the game then it means they should make defensive stance do 75% extra threat.
If they have the 30% less threat on some sort of limited time and small cool down, I can tell dps'ers are going to get a bit annoyed in raids as they will have to hold back quite a bit.
Not saying my threat generation is bad (1200tps average in BT) but without salv I can tell my dps'ers would get annoyed.
