I wonder if any of the guild break ups are more deeply routed into how raids are being created in WotLK..

Lets see takes blizzard months to get new content out. The new content is simple. I mean how long did it take to get kel'thuzud down compared to KJ. They keep nerfing content and having less reward for hardcore players people are going to quit and go play something else. Sure blizzard is going for the main brand of people which are casuals hey its where the money is but then they forgot this game is skill powns gear. Hence why back in the day guilds would farm mc and then go into bwl nowadays you can just move forward after a few clears as its too easy to get gear from heroics/badges/rep. Lets see how many more big guilds drop as WotLK comes out. Sorry but AoC and Warhammer will kill wow and are doing so with more of the hardcore and experienced people moving on. Casuals enjoy your welfare epics im sure there will be more to come .... welfare legandaries incoming soon.

Sad to hear another one biting the dust...
I never really understood why you guys traded Kazzak for Boulderfist thou. Sure server queue's, lag fests etc. We've had our fair share on Frostmane as well. Then again, you leave the best PvE realm in the entire world for Boulderfist, a realm where PvE is near to nonexistent. No doubt there was more to the disband then just a server move but ye... I would assume it's quite a bit harder to get fresh blood on Boulderfist then it was on Kazzak.

As to encounters being so called easier. It's a discussion we've had several times in guildchat etc as well. Is it really? I think we spend about 3 or 4 nights on Kel'thuzad in total back in the days. Then you hit a fight like M'uru where we spend about 3 weeks of bumping our head into a wall. In all fairness you can't really say Sunwell is easy. It's WoW... you press buttons & the game calculates what happens for you. I think this is about as hard as it gets.

That's why people like you make up 1% of the gaming population of WoW. This game is made to make money for Blizzard and they cater their content and their decisions to the player base with the most subscriptions. Sorry that the game isn't 'hard' enough for you anymore. The 'glory days of raiding' are over so now you can spend those 60+ hours a week playing the game into something more productive.

It's very hard for me to continue caring about progression and content.

My guild is T6 ATM but I had to take an extended break from raiding and missed out on all of their T5 raiding. As such I'm all badge/T4 geared. I can raid and do it well but... there's a new expansion coming out.

So I spend all summer and fall getting back up to speed in T6 stuff and perhaps a piece or two of Sunwell stuff then boom.... expansion. I'd rather start all over and be undergeared for the rest of TBC.

I understand guilds like this packing it in. Why work your butt off so hard in the final content patch when you may be fully geared for just 2-3 months from that stuff? Then the gear resets and your T6/Sunwell stuff is outmoded the second 10 mans go live.

Honestly, is it worth it?

Damn really sorry to see Forte go, they were truly a great guild full of nice people. I love watching there videos. As a warlock myself some of there movies gave a great insight into fights I was approaching.

I wish all the best to any members that carry on in other guilds, for those that dont take the well earned break
