Hm, I saw someone posting on the Blizz forums about the Frost Wyrm possibly being "Bladestorm" which was apparently supposed to be the Lich Kings personal mount or something along those lines.
But the Sindragosa-idea doesn't sound off to me, either. Actually, it's a much better name.
Hell, I don't know. I just liked the trailer for once not being some commercial show-off on classes and races like the previous two trailers were. This is the STORYLINE, people! Where things -happen-, not where you run around in a sparkly wonderland collecting loot
<3 new trailer!
(Oh, and btw: I have way too much time on my hands:

In Icecrown there is a large hole in the ground where a blue dragon Sindragosa was raised and it seems like that could be it as the entire area looks EXACTLY like the cinematic.

again, another confirmation that it seems blizz still has no clue as to the direction they are trying to go with tanking. It's almost like someone at a group discussion thought about how much better it would be if amor was armor and it would take less thought into its implementation, thus saving Blizz millions of dollars on designing new costumes.
But now that they went that direction, it's like OH SH$T, we just changed the entire game. Now tanking is broken, druids will be horrible tanks, threat is messed up.
I've said it before - the system worked. Why change it....

Because if they didn't, you would be bitching about how the game is stale and the same old shit. They can't win dude ... so, they don't sit still.

A functional system is not necessarilly a good system. Just beacuse it works, it does not mean it is the best option, nor does it mean it does not require improvement.

While I'd be fine with Sindragosa as the boss before Arthas, I've always held a personal anticipation for what that 2nd to last fight COULD be. To me, another dragon (Yes, I know there's a lot you can do with it, but still...) is too simple.
I mean, I would imagine that, like Illidan, you're going to have NPCs with you. Lots of them, if I had my guess. Sylvanas, Jaina, Bronzebeard, etc. I'd assume most, if not all of the faction leaders will be there.
Remember, this is the Arthas, the Lich King. He controls the dead. He murdered his father and teacher. There's nothing out of his realm of possibilities. That's why I've always held out hope that the last fight before Arthas himself would be the resurrected corpses of Uthar Lightbringer and Orgrim Doomhammer.
Discuss.
<< Lore junky. Love Blizzard for it.

Why the hell does everyone want to see a trailer about classes and other useless garbage?
Yeah, lets see a trailer that is just all 8 races and each race has every class that they can be and they have both male and female versions and lets take a minute for each to see it use an ability on a target. Oh, and put them on a glacier to make it fit Northrend. That would be so badass, you're right.

Picture this, and really try to picture it:
- Opening scene, just as it is now, camera pans in to Arthas' sitting on the frozen throne, music, voice over ... exactly the same.
- His eyes open, and the ice begins to crack.
- Fade out.
- Fade in, Arthas walking over the ice ... kneels down, wipes the snow off of the ice (revealing what we later find out is the dragon).
- Flash out, and in on a bad ass looking Death Knight, walking through Stormwind Keep ... deathly aura pulsasing out, NPCs running in fear. Kneeling before the Child King of Stormwind.
- Flash out, Arthas, standing, doing his sword out in the air thing.
- Flash out, and in on an equally (albeit horde) Death Knight, bad ass as the first, walking through Orgrimmar, NPCs cowering in fear and running away, kneeling before Thrall.
- Flash out, Arthas, doing his runeforging thing ... mind you, all the same as what we have now. Then smashing it in to the ground, releasing the dragon ... arm with claw ... arm with claw ...
- Flash out, Jaina, Thrall, other major characters, Death Knights, other classes ... standing at the gate to Icecrown or whatever the hell the zone is called getting ready to rumble ...
- Cut back to the dragon, finish the way it ended to begin with.
A little bit more goes a long LONG way.

They won't do anything with icecrown as of yet. Remember, they had their own little "cinematic" when the Black Temple patch hit. No reason they won't do the same for Icecrown, and possible go all the way with it.
Personally, I loved the cinematic, the only thing I wish they had included was a couple shots of faction leaders, possibly with Arthas taunting them. Especially Sylvanas... I really hope he offs her...

At first I was a little irked by the trailer, but if you watch it for the fact that WotLK is dedicated to; as the title of the expansion explains; the Lich King aka Arthas. So having the trailer dedicated to Arthas makes sense.

That would an extremely evil yet cool idea. Especialy Uthar. Resurrecting his mentor and use him as his minion would be really cool.

Blizzard said they want to focus on lore in WotLK because in tBC there was none, and WotLK is about Arthas, not about "us". Looking at the lore from player's perspective it is not as amusing as from an "outsider" view. Fourty peasants killing Kel'Thuzad or nearly every nub killing Illidan is not as exciting as the lore. And If I'm to imagine killing Arthas, then it is not something I desire. Probably I'm nostlagic about the good old lore of WC, where story was told and not served in pieces to people who give a shit about the story, yet participate in these epic moments.
