If you get dotted, and hit invis, doesnt the dot reveal you? (similar to a rogue)?

It feels like you have put a DoT on a mage and saw him go invisible anyway or vice-versa. I think what might have happened here is that the mage also had Mana Shield and/or Ice Barrier up to fully absorb the damage. In that case he won't be pulled out of invisibility.. I think.

afaik all hostile effects will remove invis (even dot's who get absorbed are counted as hostile)...

the only way to go through invis without having it removed is to iceblock and then invis. Since invis is instant with Arcane Talents that's a nice way to ensure a working invis.

Aw, ok. I do primarily play a Rogue, so I should have known that, but seeing how I can't shield myself I couldn't test it. :P
