Hi, i got two questions, the first one is: do the nightfall talant and the glyp stack?
The second one is, what glyps are you going to use with 3.1, because there are many options as affliction!
thx alot!
ps, and if i am asking anyway, what pet should you use, i always use fellhunter, I think it is beter because he moves most of time so he dies a lot less, but imp is maby a little bit more dps

Yes, Nightfall and Glyph of Corruption Stack.
Id have to go with UA, Haunt and Corruption, but thats just my opinion.

If I stay affliction probably going with haunt, CoA, and either imp or corruption.
I'll be going with Haunt, CoA, and Life Tap if i stay affliction.
The problem with glyph of UA is that it doesn't reduce the GCD so the lower cast time doesn't really do a whole lot in PvE.
Haunt will give an awesome boost.
CoA is not only a dps increase to the spell itself but also helps to tidy up your "rotation" a bit.
Glyph of Life Tap is the only one I'm slightly unsure of. If we were given the new 3.1 glyphs before 3.1 there is no way I would take the Life Tap glyph into any current content. Unless the final tuning of Ulduar falls far short of what I'm hoping for, Life Tap should be a useful glyph.
If it's not, I'd go with Corruption in its place.
As for pets, the Felhunter doesn't match the dps of the Succubus. The only time you should use the Felhunter is if you are lacking the spirit buff, but in 3.1 all priests will have access to it instead of just discipline priests. Using a succubus gives you about a 50 dps increase over the felhunter.
Imp can be used in certain rare circumstances but its dps potential is really only fully realized in deep destruction builds that also have Improved Imp from Demo. Glyphing for the imp isn't a good idea as aff, and once the new 3.1 glyphs are added it won't even be a very good glyph for Destro.

Right now on live in a raid an imp will out dps both felhunter and succy even without improved imp. And in 3.1 with the changes to the trees it will be possible to spec 53/3/15 and get everything you need from destro and affliction with the 3 leftover points for improved imp or demonic power. 2 in demonic and 1 in improved imp looks to be the better but the difference isnt much.
Corruption I think, with better crit and spell power, may ultimately beat out imp but right now I think the edge goes to imp. But the more I think about lifetap the more I like it, even getting about 5k mana from life tap your still going to do it almost 2 times a minute, meaning you get the buff for almost 2/3 of a fight. A moderately well geared lock should get somewhere from 100-120 spell power added for 2/3 of a fight. However it will run into the same trappings of the 4 piece t7, fights with movement will reduce its effectiveness since you generally squeeze in your taps while moving and dps as much as you can while not.
I just did a few quick tests on a boss training dummy.
Each test ran for 5 minutes, timed by the duration of the Curse of Elements on the target. For imp and succubus I just let the beat on the dummy and then for felhunter I kept all DoTs on the target since it depends on them for its damage. Succubus and Felhunter were attacking from behind to avoid parries. No points in any talents to improve the pets.
Imp: 181.7 dps
Fel Puppy: 195.7 dps
Succubus: 204.9 dps
It's certainly pretty close, but in raids I've typically seen my succubus pull about 50 dps more than Felhunter, which have both come out ahead of the Imp for me. Only time I used the Imp was back when Felhunter was bugged and wouldn't attack for long stretches of time and before the succubus received its damage buff. I think it was 3.0.8 that turned the pet dps on its head.
The other thing is that melee pets get much better scaling from raid buffs than the imp does.
