Does anyone know if torment of the weak will benefit from Icy Touch in the next patch? I know that it has been confirmed to benefit from Thunder Clap, but we run with a DK main tank so I was just checking. Thanks

Thunder Clap slows the enemy's attack speed, not movement speed (although the version mobs get does). Do that kind of effects count as snares? It doesn't make any sense if they do.

I cannot find the link, but GC specifically said that Torment of the Weak will work with warrior's Thunder Clap in 3.0.8 even though it is an attack speed reduction, not a true snare.
Blizzard is against making certain classes spells better than others and whatnot, so I would assume Icy Touch, Infected Wounds, and Judgements of the Just will have the same affect.

It just has to work with something else than slow because having a mage in the raid to keep slow up on boss means that he basicly cant dps much (being arcane specced and have to recast slow every 15 sec for alot mana) otherwise its not working in raids at all (unless for some trash mobs can be snared but as long as theres no frost mage nothing will be snared most likely anyway...

I believe the issue is the same with the glyph of Blood/Heart Strike, which increases damage done by 20% when the target is snared.
Though I haven't tested it myself, I'm pretty sure it works with Infected Wounds and Frostfire Bolt. If anyone's got more info on this i'd be glad :)

Yes, it will work with Icy Touch. It has been said that Torment of the Weak will work with ANY slowing effect.

Do you have a source for that? Not busting your balls or anything, I just want to be sure.
