I am wondering on Warlock specs for wotlk. If you could give suggestions that would help. Please only post if you had gained at least gladiator in pvp or had killed m'uru before the nerf. No noob specs.

lol your here asking for help and you want people to tell you how credible they are...? Wow, thats amusing. If you can't figure out what's good and what's bad maybe you should try a new class thats not so hard for you to understand.

I think affliction is still underpowered at the moment. I really hoped affliction can be a viable raid spec as it is more of a skill-based spec.
However, after about 20 respecs and testing in actual raid environment, I believe my current spec of fire destro with imp is the highest dps spec with currently available T7-level gear. The fire destro with imp is certainly not a one-button spam spec and actually requires some rotation to be able to dps effectively.
I have no idea how the gear will scale at T8 level tho.

Affliction has been "proven" by a lot of people (as posted on the official warlock forums) to be the higher dps spec right now. But as I've seen mentioned, that might change if Blizzard starts to introduce more gear that has +spell crit benefits (for destro), like they did in BC.
Perhaps go check out the forums on elitistjerks.com. There's quite a few dps calculations there on warlock dps.
As for your comment about only "qualified" players replying...it seems ignorant. ie. I've never gotten gladiator status (because I don't like pvp) and I didn't kill muru (or even get into Sunwell). Why? Because our server is low pop, and only had one guild get into Sunwell. Does that mean that I'm (or anyone else in the same situation for that matter) is not a good player? Nope.

this is a tough choice here, but for me, a lot of spell haste has made a bit of difference between specs and dealing damage overall. haste doesn't do too much for affliction except speed up haunt, unstable affliction, immolate, and shadow bolt and/or seed of corruption into the DoT rotation. This can be a big deal as I can pop off 5 bolts or 4 seeds before my DoTs expire, which saves on mana a bit when refreshign the DoTs. As for Dest. spec, the haste helps alot when applying the DoTs, then Immolate, then a few Incenerates before hitting conflagrate before refreshing. another thing to keep in mind, that crit can make a big difference too instead of having haste. Both have big benefits and drawlbacks.

Aff underpowered? Wait what?!
If any thing it's bugged atm (only one lock gets SE) thats why you se so few aff locks in 25'man guilds. And thats getting fixed.
Other then that it's prob one of the top dps speccs atm.
