Elemental Precision in Tier 2

Am i the only one who doesn't like this change?
Thanks to this most fire ( and thus raiding mages who need hit the most ) mages won't be able to get this talent.
Imo it should be switched with Ice Floes.

Take points out of Fire Starter and Fiery Payback and voila there you go (Those talents are a waste imo or i can say they worth sacrificing to get elemental precision)

They are making it so that you can actually have 3 different mage specs in 1 raid!

since Winter's Chill and Imp Scorch will affect Arcane Fire and Frost (in the current beta build anyway) Then just bring an Arcane mage to benefit from Balance druid buff and focus mind, Arcane will become better then Fire from what I've seen... at least for raw power

Edit: Didnt notice the Burnout change, looks nais. You can even get away with 11/49/11 then perhaps ^^

most mages go into fire enough to get icy veins anyways. picking up elemental precision wont be a big deal

I agree that those are not necessery , but think of the AOE possibility of having living bomb , dragon breath , blast wave and flamestrike as instant spells.
Blizzard stated several ( milion? ) times that mages should be the AOE kings and imo having those talents brings them back.
Fiery pushback .. well i'd still love to be able take it , just to be able to cast a pyroblast occasionally.

@Chimina: Dumb of me , i didn't even think of skipping LB ^^ , a 11/49/11 looks indeed pretty good :).
Altough the 30 yard range of focus mind will make it a bitch to keep on the target without loosing dps
sidenote: I haven't raided (or played ) on a mage in almost 2 years so i'm not sure how good the damage of DB BW & FS is

If you are going to be running with 1 mage each spec in raids, then you wouldnt need to spec for focused mind and could go good ole deep fire with icy veins. Then just make it the Arcane mages responsibility to keep focused mind up.
