Succesful Dispels or MDs announced in Raid, party or /s chat - help?

Hey - Iam looking for some help for macros that shows succesful dispels in chat.

1. Massdispels - telling what I dispelled. Saw that in a BG not long ago.

2. Succesful dispels on like skulls on Mu'ru on chat.

Anyone knowledgeable enough to lend me a hand here?

I do not believe a macro can do this. A addon that takes data from teh combat log would work though. Don't know anytone that does it I'm afraid. Maybe Afflicted?

I saw a priest in BG who used Massdispells and it would show in raidchat

xplayer removed xxxxx on yplayer by Massdispel

Xplayer removed xxxxx on zplayer by massdispel

etc etc.

So it gotta be doable, I guees.

The question is.. is it really that necessary?

Between just dpsing m'uru and mass dispelling.. you don't have much else to pay attention to other then maybe throwing down a DOT or two on a sentinal, so why can't you just check for dark fiends right after the MD and single dispel??

Not to mention, if you did this, it would spam your group / raid every darkness.

afflicted doesnt announce either...just says "Removed <spellicon>" in SCT instead of chat since 2.4.3

It's ment for P2 and prolly more an insurrence to myself that Iam doing what I think iam doing, right. I'd like to know if it's me or the other dispellers/purgers who is cleaning up the skulls.

The Spamm wouldnt be much, just a few times, also since it was s'pose to be only if I was succesfull, whice would lower the spamm even more, with 4 other players who will try and dispell/purge.

the older versions do. You just have to enable announcements. I didn't see anything that would break this feature in the new patch. For those who want to use it, type /affilcted ui , general tab all the way and the bottom should have some that says announcements, turn those on and choose where you want it to be announced.

Just downed Mu'ru the 1st time, phase 1 is smooth now, phase 2 is messy. We are having problems get the shadow fiends dispelled or purged quick enough. Ive been using the macro for this like

/target shadow fiend
/cast dispel magic

but often it bugs out, giving me friendly targets or simply ignores the cast dispel magic.

Anyone has som pro things to put in it, to make it more reliable?

This works in P2, however i haven't had it work properly in P1 (strange, but its true)
