Why use extra stam gear?
Our mages don't even use any gear other than their normal PvE gear, serves quite well ^_^

Just make sure your as close to hit cap as poss dude, that way hp doesnt matter, and tell your hunters not to arcane shot on misdirect.. had some fun with that for a long time.

and, indeed, there's no point in getting 17k hp to avoid a 1% chance to wipe (standared base miss chance). Tbh, i am not even sure there is the 1% chance to miss, might be the specific mob is "vulnerable" to spellsteal, as some bosses never resist taunt etc to avoid rng wipes.

you don;t really need that much health, if all you want is high number of health, get some of stamina greens and gem all your shit with 15 stamina gem.

all in all, I don;t see the point in going for more health if it isn't needed, specially if you;re gimping your hit.

Sorry, but I don't believe that. Ever done the Halazzi fight in ZA? Yeah, one taunt resist, and it's a wipe. It's happened in the raids I've been to more than once, though it is rare of course.

One taunt resist a raid wipe on Halazzi? You sure you don't mean Nalorakk? Because I don't remember any part of the halazzi fight where a taunt being resisted could result in a complete raid wipe...the lynx never manages to kill any of us if the tank takes a few seconds to pick him up
