Is http://www.wowdb.com/item.aspx?id=24257 a good buy for a new(er) Shadow Priest?

It's selling for 625g btw.

i dont know anything about shadowpriests and their gear sharing with locks and mages, but may i suggest getting Belt of Blasting or something like that? there's been a big fuss about that on our realm and now any (respected) clothie has one crafted :)

that belt is very bad for shadowpriest, go for the belt of blasting and if u dont have gold for it, go for girdle of ruination both with 12sd gems or 9sd gems.

That site has full information on best raid gear, best casual gear, best spell rotation, ui mods, whatever.

Just go there for your answers on shadowpriests. :P

Aaand.. either girdle of ruination or belt of blasting. Personally, i've stuck w/ my cord of screaming terrors because it has a bit of stats on it, whereas belt of blasting just has some crit.. which isn't a big deal, but you don't want to crit yourself all the time... doesn't necessarily help when taking AOE damage, aha.

QFT Belt of blasting is now verry easy to get and the best thing to get if you dont have acces to high instance's

@Krispin149 hitting the cap is something you rarely have to worry about :P so far i havent even had to watch it since i havent ever dropped below the cap plus i have a ele shaman in my raiding group so i dont even watch it anymore.

I know your original post is old, but simply apply some filters on wowhead to look for some belts. For example: (http://www.wowhead.com/?items=4.1&filter=qu=3:4;sl=6;minrl=70;maxrl=70#0-2+1) And yes, the Black Belt of Knowledge is garbage for shadow.
